Ever since I was five, I would beg for a camera. I always enjoyed taking pictures. I didn't want to take staged photos, but I wanted to tell a story. My goal was to capture images of happy, sad, and meaningful moments. I wanted the picture to immediately take you back to the memory, or straight to a certain feeling. Art has always been a way for me to escape real life and create my own story.

Photography can be a challenging process, but that is what I find most interesting about it. My favorite part of the day is knowing I have a class and a passion I really enjoy doing. My goal for this semester was to learn good composition and technique. My main goal was to learn how to focus my images better. Creating an intricate picture and getting a perfect focus was difficult for me. I also had a hard time developing my film. Unfortunately, I lost many photos I loved. Overall, photography was a great learning experience that brought new knowledge and friendships into my life that I will never forget.
